Moreover, she sold worldwide records and was the highest-grossing solo touring artist of all time, with a jaw-dropping revenue of $1.5 billion in the US alone.

Madonna Louise Ciccone was born in sunny Bay City, Michigan, on August 16, 1958. Despite being in her retirement years, Madonna is still active in making music, touring, and other endeavors. She was initially married to actor Sean Penn, with whom she walked down the aisle in 1985 but split in 1989. Also, the singer was Mrs. Ritchie from 2000 to 2008. After she tied the knot with filmmaker Guy Ritchie, she eventually sought help from a lawyer to end her marriage. Madonna has six children in total, biological and adopted.
