Meryl Streep | Born 1949

Meryl Streep gets credits for being the “best actress of her generation,” and no one will disagree. Her incredible acting talent, added with her versatility and accents, makes her the best. In her more than five decades in the business, she already has 21 Academy Award nominations and 32 Golden Globe Award nominations.

Streep started in the business in 1969 and made a name in the ‘70s through her stage debut. Her debut film, Julia, was out in 1977, and after just a year, she already won a Primetime Emmy Award. However, it was in 1985 that Streep received her biggest commercially successful project, Out of Africa. Her successful movie releases continued, and she once again reclaimed her stardom in the early 2000s to 2010s with The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia! and more. It looks like there is nothing to negate the radiance of the star of someone like Streep.
