Would you believe Monique Coleman is now 40 years old? It only feels like yesterday when the actress played the role of Taylor McKessie in Disney’s High School Musical movies. Now, she is no longer in high school. The network’s fans may also remember Coleman as the schoolgirl Mary Margaret in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Now, gone are the days that the singer-dancer will pass as a young student.

She now gets credits for being the first-ever UN Youth Champion for the International Year of Youth. Coleman is currently on tour to raise awareness of the challenges the youth faces today. She also has her own talk show, entitled Gimme Mo’, dedicated to empowering the youth. Coleman is mainly focused on her philanthropic works today. She works on dosomething.org to create Do Something U video tutorials for young activists who need guidance and inspiration.
