Skai Syed Jackson is a native of New York. She kicked off her career as a child model, landing commercial gigs for Coca-Cola, Band-Aid, Old Navy, and Pepsi. In 2007, the starlet tried her hand in acting, starring in an indie film entitled Liberty Kid. Subsequently, she cashed in guest and minor roles in shows and movies, such as Rescue Me, The Rebound, Royal Pains, Boardwalk Empire, and The Smurfs. In 2011, she made a career breakthrough in landing a starring role in Disney’s Jessie, where she played the role of Zuri Ross. The sitcom proved to be one of the network’s valuable investments and would air for over four years. Since then, Jackson has capitalized on her rising popularity and established herself as a YouTuber and author, apart from being an actress.

Today, the young influencer is 19 years old and continues her rise to mainstream pop culture. She recently lent her voice in the series Marvel Rising and participated in the 29th season of Dancing with the Stars.
