Michael Jordan | Born 1963

The young Michael Jordan already had a deep-seated interest in sports ever since he was a child. It is worth noting that basketball was not his first love. He was initially interested with baseball and would even spend afternoons playing catch with his father. It was later on in his high school days when he attempted the sport because of the influence of his older brother. Jordan was undersized compared to his teammates, but with his unwavering determination, he has averaged more than 20 points per game in his last two years of high school basketball. In 1984, he was the third overall pick by the Chicago Bulls, which was a prerequisite to his greatness.

Today, at 58 years old, Jordan owns the Charlotte Hornets. He takes credit for popularizing basketball in the last years of the ‘90s. He also had a Minor League Baseball stint before pursuing a career in basketball.
