Robert Downey Jr. | Born 1965

Robert Downey Jr. started acting since he was a child, appearing on Saturday Night Live back in the ‘80s, but his success was eclipsed by his struggle against substance abuse. The actor turned his life around eventually and redeemed himself by becoming one of Hollywood’s A-list actors. One of his most successful performances was as Charlie Chaplin in the 1993 movie Chaplin, where he was nominated for an Academy Award, ultimately cementing his name as one of the most gifted actors of all time. In 2008, Downey’s career reached an all-time high when he starred as Tony Stark in Iron Man and grossed more than $315 million.

Aside from being an exceptional actor, Downey also has investments in philanthropic causes, such as the FootPrint Coalition, which aims to support technology against climate change.
