Born as Marshall Bruce Mathers III, Eminem is a renowned rapper, music producer, and actor. He is no doubt one of the most influential rappers in the 21st century. In 1999, he released his debut album The Slim Shady LP, which achieved multi-platinum status and garnered him two Grammys and four MTV Video Music Awards. Prior to releasing his phenomenal album, Eminem dropped out of school and got employed in several odd jobs.

A year after the release of his first album, The Marshall Mather LP followed, which takes credit as the fastest-selling album in the history of the genre. In 2010, he released Recovery, which earned him another Grammy. Early this year, at 48 years old, Eminem released full-length songs without warning, which greatly shocked his fans. Interestingly, his first two drops had stayed on top of the Billboard charts.
