Despite looking like he is in his mid-30s, Sam Smith is just 29 years old. The British singer first came to prominence back in 2012 with his single Latch. He then released his debut album two years later, which was greeted with great success. He became world-famous with his performance of the song Writings on the Wall, which was the theme song for the James Bond film Spectre in 2015. While receiving mixed reviews, the song is given credit for making Smith a household name, which earned him numerous awards, including a Golden Globe and an Oscar.

Today, Smith’s albums have sold over 30 million copies and have won numerous awards, including four Grammys and three Brit Awards. Recently, he released his third album, titled Love Goes, in collaboration with Demi Lovato. The album, released during the COVID-19 pandemic, was quite successful in terms of sales.
