Samuel L. Jackson | Born 1948

Known for his hot-headed and often profanity-laced dialogues, Samuel L. Jackson has become endearing and enduring to fans. It seems that, despite being at the age of 72, Jackson might as well be around in his mid-40s. Interestingly enough, it was during his 40s when he started to become famous with Coming to America in 1988, putting him on the map. In recent years, he became well-known for his role as Director Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with his charismatic portrayal winning praises. Of course, Jackson had other films to thanks for his stardom, including Pulp Fiction, Snakes on a Plane, Jungle Fever, and Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Today, Jackson has been busy working on a live-action film adaptation of Afro Samurai and a remake of The Last Dragon. Aside from acting, he has been active in various social causes, often making investments supporting social justice.
