After making a name as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, she made the greatest decision of her life to go solo. From here, she made one of the greatest comebacks in music history by dropping her multi-platinum album Private Dancer, which gathered a number of accolades and music chart successes.

Turner’s fame does not just end here. Despite her retirement in 2009, her final world tour turned out to be one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.
