Lorde | Born 1996

Many may be familiar with New Zealand singer Lorde for her song Royals back in 2013, which was included in her first album Pure Heroine. At the time, people thought that she was already in her early 20s. It then comes as a surprise to some that she became world-famous just at the age of 16, in addition to bagging two Grammys in the process. Many were quite surprised at how young she was. One reporter even made an investment to get her birth certificate to get to the bottom of this. Turns out, she was really young when she became famous.

Today, Lorde still carries on much of her unconventional and somewhat aristocratic looks, which greatly aided her rise to fame. Recently, she has released two singles, Solar Power and Stoned at the Nail Salon, in 2021 as part of her upcoming third album.
