Elle Fanning | Born 1998
Elle Fanning is an actress born on April 9, 1998. She is the younger of the Fanning sisters. Like her older sister, Fanning also started out as a child star. Fun fact, she actually starred as the younger version of her older sister in the film that launched Dakota’s career, I Am Sam. However, unlike her sister, the actress did not go full speed into the acting business after gaining that acting credit from the Sean Penn film. Instead, her parents decided to let her live out her childhood while Dakota broke more ground.
When Fanning was 13 years old, she finally followed through with her acting dreams and broke through the industry with her role in JJ Abrams’ Super 8. A much bigger role followed three years later when she was cast to play Princess Aurora in the Disney live adaption of Sleeping Beauty titled Maleficent. Moreover, she also became Cannes Film Festival’s youngest juror, and she’s only 22!
