Cher has established herself as a cultural icon whose career has crossed several decades already. She is also considered as one of the best-selling artists in the music industry, with more than 100 million copies of her album sold. Though she started out with her former husband, Sonny Bono, she continued making a name for herself not only as a singer but as an actress too. Though she went on a retirement tour in 2005, it seems that the call for her to perform is too good to pass up.

Cher went on to do a residency in Las Vegas and, thanks to her acting in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, she continued to record different versions of ABBA’s music. Aside from her career, she has also made investments towards her philanthropy work, which included moving the Loneliest Elephant in the world to where it belonged.
