Wendy Williams has made a name for herself as a journalist, TV personality, and actor after graduating with a degree in Communications. Before she became a popular TV host, Williams started out as a DJ at the WVIS. She later transferred to WRKS which was based in NYC. She later established herself as one of the most sought-after DJs. It was in 1998 that she really hit her stride, thanks to her agent and former husband, Kevin Hunter.

Williams went on to transition to TV, where she was given a chance to host her very own TV show called The Wendy Williams Show. There was no doubt that it was highly successful with an average of 2.4 million viewers on a daily basis. However, because of her Grave’s disease, she had to take some break from her work, with other celebrities filling in for her.
