The name Robert Redford has been etched in the minds of many. He has been in the business since the late 1950s and has a career spanning more than six decades. Mind you, his success does not just excel in the four corners of the acting world but also behind the camera. As one of the legendary superstars in the industry, Redford has received a number of awards and recognitions from different award-giving bodies. He was also named one of the 100 Most Influential People In The World by Time magazine in 2004.

Redford’s 1980 movie Ordinary People received critical and public acclaim. Despite an incredible degree of success and a big name, the actor decided to officially retire in 2018 after completing his last movie The Old Man & The Gun. However, he regretted his decision after that, because as he said, “you never know.”
