Joel Osteen | Born 1963

Joel Osteen has established himself as a pastor and a televangelist, which he has picked up from his father. Though he did pursue a degree in radio and television communications, he did not graduate. Instead, he created Lakewood’s television program and later produced the sermons of his father, which ran for 17 years. After his father passed away, Osteen took on the role of being a televangelist and pastor. It was one of his more defining moments.

The pastor and author have since expanded the reach of his televangelism across the globe. Though Osteen has no formal background in religion, he was able to keep his viewers hooked to his every word. Aside from this, the pastor has also been writing several books on how to prosper. He was even featured in the program Today Show recently, where he was promoting his new book.
