Barbara Mandrell gets credits for a lot of things. She is a singer, musician, and actress, who has a number of countries hits back from the 1970s to the 1980s. She also used to have her own variety show that made her one of the country’s most successful female vocalists in that era. However, after the success of her last concert at the Grand Ole Opry House in 1997, she officially retired from performing on stage.
